Our Story
This is the backdrop of the Innovation Discovery Center (IDC) and HealthTech Center strategic partnership.
In its inception, HealthTech Center was created by a vision to advance the use of groundbreaking technologies to enhance the health of individuals and communities. Recognizing the complex landscape of healthcare, with its myriad challenges and boundless opportunities, HealthTech embarked on a mission to become a trusted source of objective, expert, and actionable insights in the rapidly evolving domain of healthcare technologies.
As a member-based research organization, HealthTech developed a suite of tools and resources that served as a compass for navigating the future of healthcare innovation and diffusion. With a portfolio that included Forecast Reports, Clinical Focus Reports, High Impact Technology Reports, and more, HealthTech provided a panoramic view of the potential impacts of emerging technologies on care delivery, utilization, and market dynamics.
After a few years HealthTech and its member organizations recognized that knowledge alone was not enough. The bridge between insight and action, between potential and realization, needed to be supported. Thus, the Innovation Discovery Center (IDC) was born.
IDC emerged as an implementation partner of HealthTech, translating rich, research-based insights into tailored, pragmatic solutions. By considering a multitude factors such as patient demographics, hospital size, and location, IDC specialized in the rapid implementation of healthcare innovations. HealthTech provided the compass, guiding through the complexities of future technologies with objective and expert insights. In parallel, IDC assisted clients to turn these insights towards tangible outcomes through rapid and pragmatic implementation.
